Conservation LEADERSHIP ACADEMY
ABOUT THIS PROGRAM
The EcoLogik Conservation Leadership Academy creates a continuum of support for the young women and gender-marginalized youth who have participated in our inspiring camps, apprenticeship program, or applied separately by offering ongoing learning and internship opportunities, career development, mentorship by women-in-STEM, and a community of alumnae.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE
Girls, young women, and non-binary youth aged 13-18 are invited to apply to the Leadership Academy.
If selected, Leaders will have the opportunity to:
Become involved in ongoing scientific research projects
Develop innovative science communication methods
Speak publicly and in the media
Grow teamwork and leadership skills
Learn from diverse women in STEM and join a mentorship program
Form community with like-minded youth and adults
Explore STEM career pathways
Requirements:
Must identify as a girl/young woman or non-binary individual
Must be 13-18 years of age
Must be able to meet once a week, either in-person or online
Must be an active participant who is enthusiastic about learning, nature, and general STEM topics
Must be willing to commit ~3 hours to their apprenticeship per week (illness, holidays, and other exceptions apply)

Applications close on September 16th, 2026 and applicants will be notified of their status no later than September 23rd.
