The EcoLogik Institute, Boz Institute, and UCSD Extended Studies invite you to apply for a Natural Resource Management & Environmental Assessment Internship!

This 20-week paid internship provides immersive training in environmental science, natural resource management, and regulatory compliance. Interns gain hands-on experience in laboratory techniques, field research, wildlife monitoring, and data analysis, while earning industry-relevant credentials in GIS and CEQA through UCSD Extended Studies. Through close mentorship by scientists and other environmental and conservation professionals, technical instruction, and real-world projects, interns build a robust skillset and a professional portfolio to support long-term career mobility. Interns will also be provided support as they enter the job market with resume review and job interviews.

What: 20-week paid internship with mentors from both the EcoLogik Institute and Boz Institute, and coursework with UCSD Extended studies for 24-weeks

Who: 18-26 yr. olds

When: Internship runs during the week of August 30, 2026th - January 17th, 2027

Where: Public lands across San Diego County, the Boz Institute wet lab, and asynchronous work from a computer

Pay: $20/hr., 32-40 hrs./week (will vary depending on project)
